First and foremost my condolences for the family and friends…
I met Jeff about 27years ago, I’d say it was the same year he opened Hamilton Sports in Aspen a couple of meters across Aspen Mountain (Ajax) gondola, 1997 if I’m not wrong.
I was about 18-20 years old, came to the shop and immediately clicked, kind of thought the same way…
I remember the stories of the fall, he had scars still on and the description of the fall was epic.
What an incredible human, amazing spirit, risk taker, explorer, adventurer, friend…
Due to life and stuff that happens didn’t come back to Aspen after 2001, where we kind of lost track.
For the last year or 2 been thinking a lot about him and how amazing friend he was…
Learning about his passing has brought o my tears and a feeling of regret for not knowing and not contacting him earlier, but I’m sure he’s up there in the heavens doing what he loved, skiing all around and pushing the “unlimited” like he used to do…
My condolences to his family and closest friends..,
He was (is) an example, he’s memory will forever live with us…
See ya when I see ya my friend! 😘
RIP
