I didn’t compete full time on the tour anymore in 2000. I was back home for the most part, except for a Red Bull attempt on the record in Lech, Austria.  With Eleanore in tow, and my sister as our nanny, we went to Lech. Unfortunately, Harry Eger crashed the first run and the race was canceled. But we loved Plan B, had a great vacation in Italy as a family. It felt like everything was transitioning in a healthy way into family and business, and that felt good. I did everything I wanted to do in skiing – I always wanted more records but you don’t always get the records you want.
