I didn’t go to Europe to compete. I brought Europe to me. I created and held the Red Bull US Championships and World cup, which was part of the tour. My family was there.  I had a new baby, Frances Joy, and Eleanore was 2 years old, my wife was there. Fortunately, I won the race, retained my title as America’s fastest skier, and dropped the mic and called it a career.
